Our Winter Warm-up

We have a fantastic season of musical and theatrical events ahead of us here at the Old Bakery.

Some of the finest acts around will be performing here to see us into the festive season. The bands we have coming to perform include some of the best talent around. Here are some highlights :

Stirring rock from Brother & Bones, gentle but raw songwriting from Marry Waterson & Emily Barker, the sparkling indie talent of Penelope Isles. Not to mention some of the greatest local rock bands, Godstone, Golitha and 50 Year Storm playing towards the end of October… it could get heavy!

Moving into November we have a talk from the fantastic James Ketchell, a genuine bona fide adventurer who has pushed the extremes of what someone can do. We also head towards the folk end of things, with stunningly atmospheric folk rock from The Little Unsaid, followed 2 days later by the original and haunting ballads of Joshua Burnside.

At the end of November, our old favourite, Gaz Brookfield, returns for another night of foot-stomping fun. Then we have the storming folk rock of Mad Dog Mcrea to take us into the holiday season, when there’s a treat for the ladies on 20th December with the finest Michael Buble tribute around, Tom Cary, performing for a special night of Bubbles & Buble (free bubbles included in cover).

For those who are interested in spending a great Sunday afternoon hearing some of the finest local musicians doing their thing, be sure to come along to our ever-popular Jazz Jam and Blues Jam. You can also catch the Jazz Lounge in mid-November.

There’s also plenty of seasonal theatre with the Halloween fun of ‘Shivers & Shadows’ and two festive treats with the unusual but highly popular ‘Christmas.Time’ and the only slightly more traditional ‘A Christmas Carol’ featuring David Mynne to see us nicely up to Christmas time.

All events are bookable at https://www.tickettailor.com/events/oldbakerystudios/ so why not join us in the warm up to winter here at the Old Bakery?

See you soon!
