Do you have a fear of Public Speaking? Does the thought of standing at the front of the room and delivering a speech fill you with dread? Are you being held back at work because you don't want to give a presentation in front of a group of people?

If you answer, 'yes' to just one of these questions, then coming along to a one day Public Speaking course will help you move forward.

The objective of the workshop:
To be confident standing at the front of the room and delivering an effective speech in public.

The course is being led by comedian, broadcaster and teacher, Claire Rowley. Claire has taught for many years – drama, acting and public speaking and her classes are relaxed, fun and inspiring.

The one day Public Speaking workshop will be held in a supportive environment and consist of the following:
Public speaking exercises to build confidence:
·Dramatic Openings
·Rant & Rave
·Q & A

Who you are:
·Tapping into your personality, creativity and authenticity – being yourself
·Give your credentials – short & sweet
·Throwing away bad habits
·Correct posture
· Breathing and relaxation

How to prepare an effective speech:
·Theme stated - - sound bite – deliver your hook
·Speech structure
·Persuasive argument
·Humour sells

Getting your key message across:
·What are you trying to do?
·What's in it for them?
·What's your promise?

Delivering your speech:
Practice makes perfect!
