TALK for pleasure or profit

  • Old Bakery Studios Malpas Road Truro, England, TR1 (map)

Boost your confidence, sharpen your presentation skills and transform your public speaking with TV's Jason Bradbury and the TALK team.

About this event

This is a an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK's most successful public speakers and demystify the art of confident, impactful, meaningful presentation.

Would you like to feel a new, deep-routed confidence in front an audience, or free yourself of the nerves that hold you back from clear, fluid expression in front of colleagues or friends?

The TALK Workshops are designed around the TALK for Pleasure and Profit Online learning system developed by Jason Bradbury and his team. Jason, perhaps best known for hosting The Gadget Show on Channel 5 has worked for the past fifteen years as a corporate speaker, travelling the world as a keynote and host at business events for big brands. From B.T to Vodafone, Audi to Porsche, Jason has talked to live audiences, sometimes numbering thousands on a range of topics. During Lockdown, when the events industry was paused, Jason decided to get writing and deep-dive what it is that drives the most impressive, inspiring and authentic speakers. Fifty thousand words later and he had the beginnings of a practical system designed to help propel anyone towards their confidence and speaking goals. That system is now a popular online course.

Now, you have the chance to experience some of the core concepts behind the online course, but uniquely, you'll be working in-person with Jason and some of his team.

In your one-day TALK workshop you will learn:

  • How to create a killer speech - in just Five Days

  • How to make a great first impression - with the Never Say Hello Principle

  • How Personal Stories always deliver - with help from the Emotional Skyline

  • How to have fun when speaking publicly - with Own That Anxiety

...and much more!

Jason will be joined by two members of the TALK team who represent decades of experience working in front of live audiences in a number of contexts. We have an impressive pool of TALK talent from which to draw and Jason's co-coaches will either be full-time professional speakers, comedians, broadcasters, streamers or practitioners from a discipline aligned with TALK's core concepts, e.g NLP & life coaching.

You might be absolutely terrified at the idea of speaking in front of work colleagues or an already confident speaker looking to explore professional speaking engagements. There are no barriers to enrolling in one of our workshops, just be ready to get involved, learn and have fun!
